Baby Carnahan aka "Peanut"

I wanted to wait until we went to the doctor today but it is 100% official! We found out on our 2nd anniversary, November 4, that we are going to have a baby. It took a while to finally know more information. I had to change doctors because mine no longer delivered so we went to meet with him for the first time today!

It is so very wierd though - a baby growing in your belly - WOW~! What a miracle from God! I am 10 weeks and 3 days exactly today. Due date is July 18, Lance is really hoping for July 14 but not real sure that will work out - guess we will see. We go back in 4 weeks to hear the heartbeat and then back on February 6th to see what "Peanut" is.

Honestly we could care less what God blesses us with. We have had numerous people tell us what they think "Peanut" is. But we don't care, honestly!

Well Christmas Eve is in only 2 days. Time to travel, although not to far for us. We will head to Minden on Christmas Eve and go to church with Lance's mom and dad. I am really excited because we will get to see Brayden!(nephew) Then that night we are staying at my parents. Christmas morning with my parents and then back to Minden, then back to Ruston for dinner and . . . . . . finally home! It is all worth it to me!

I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas! Probably will not write until after Christmas!

Happy Birthday Jesus!

Have a Holly Jolly Christmas!

Merry Christmas to everyone! This is my first blog and I am not really sure what made me decide to do this. Well I guessI kinda know but - Guess it is a Guy Barnes trait for me to love blogs - I love reading about others and how they live their daily lives so I thought it might help me put my life a little more in perspective by writing about it.

Just thought this was something that would make me look at life daily instead of being in a rush to get to the next day. Something to help me cherish all my moments with family and friends instead of taking them for granted.

I am getting super excited about Christmas! I love the Holiday's - although they are a little tiring having to drive all over but it is well worth it to see everyone! I am 99% finished shopping - the animals stockings are stuffed and are bursting with goodies that they will love. Finished Lance's Christmas about 2 days ago so only one more person to buy for! I actually enjoyed Christmas shopping this year - minus the crowds of course!

Well only one more day at work so I better start wrapping things up here and at work too!

Merry Christmas to all!
